Privacy Policy

Mathlex ("we", "our", "the app") is a math brain training game developed by Solvinko. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

1. Data We Collect

a) Account Information

• Anonymous accounts: When you first open the app, Firebase Authentication creates an anonymous account with a unique user ID. No personal information is collected at this stage.
• Google Sign-In (optional): If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your display name and email address from Google. This is used to identify you on leaderboards.

b) Game Data

• Game scores, accuracy, streaks, and difficulty level
• Daily challenge completion status

This data is stored locally on your device (Room database) and, if you are signed in, synced to Google Cloud Firestore for leaderboard functionality.

c) Advertising Data

We use Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data according to Google's Privacy Policy.

d) Crash Reports

We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports (stack traces, device model, OS version). No personal data is included in crash reports.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Display your scores on weekly leaderboards
• Sync your game progress across devices (when signed in)
• Show relevant advertisements
• Diagnose and fix app crashes
• Improve the app experience

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with:

• Google Firebase (authentication, cloud storage, crash reporting)
• Google AdMob (advertising)

These services operate under Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

Game data is stored locally on your device and in Google Cloud Firestore (encrypted in transit and at rest). We do not operate our own servers.

5. Leaderboard Data

If you sign in and submit scores to the leaderboard, your display name and score are visible to other signed-in users. Leaderboard data resets weekly.

6. Children's Privacy

Mathlex is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Your Rights

• Delete your data: You can clear all local data by uninstalling the app. To delete cloud data, sign out and contact us.
• Opt out of personalized ads: Use your device's "Opt out of Ads Personalization" setting.
• Decline sign-in: You can use the app without signing in. Leaderboard features require sign-in.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
